The team at Belmont House Care Home in Sutton recently celebrated a huge milestone for their much-loved colleague, Christiana, as she reached a decade working at the home. Christiana is a domestic assistant at Belmont House and has dedicated herself to keeping the home spotless and well-presented at all times. Every day, she takes on the challenge of maintaining the three floors of the home to ensure that residents are living in a clean, bright and beautiful space.
She commented on her role at the home – “I’m proud of my role because when I look back at my achievements, I see that all my efforts are giving positive results, improving the lives of the residents and contributing to the growth of my team.”
Christiana is an absolute asset to the Belmont House team who decided to celebrate her decade working at the home with a surprise party. Home Manager Arthur proudly presented her with the Long Service award in recognition of her commitment and the team awarded her with a giant chocolate cake!
When asked what Care from the Heart means to her, Christiana answered, “caring from the heart means kindness, concern and empathy to others.”
