Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton has won the Aria Care’s recent competition for creating and hosting an outstanding tea party on the weekend of the King Charles III’s Coronation.
Colleagues and residents in our communities came together to create the King’s Coronation quiche, a showstopper celebration cake and offered a selection of beverages all while having a fun afternoon.
In honour of their win, staff and residents at Belmont House were treated to an exclusive afternoon tea, hosted by Aria Care’s Executive team.
The Executive team dressed in smart black and white attire to serve their guests, while the home was decorated to set the perfect ambiance. The food and beverages were prepared by the talented Aria Care catering team, which included homemade sausage rolls, canapes, pastries, and cakes as well as a range of modified foods for those with specific dietary requirements.
Arthur Tanare, home manager, said: “We are thrilled to have been named the winners of the coronation tea party competition. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and we strive to provide them with the utmost care and comfort. This win is a testament to our commitment to top-tier hospitality and person-centred care and support for our residents.”
The competition was designed to show the positive impact caring environments have on residents, by promoting a sense of belonging, community and overall well-being, as well as recognising the effort and contribution of colleagues and to say ‘thank you’ for their commitment to Aria Care.
Caroline Roberts, CEO of Aria Care Group, praised Belmont House’s commitment to fostering a culture of hospitality within the care home industry.
She said: “Belmont House has set a remarkable example for other care homes. Their dedication to ensuring the happiness and well-being of their residents through excellent hospitality is truly inspiring.”
