A talented resident from Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton, Heather, has been hand painting a range of gift cards and wanted to sell her creations to raise money for the local hospice St Raphael’s.
As part of our open day for the local community Heather was joined by Bonita from St Raphael’s Hospice and had all her cards on display. The cards were hugely popular and sold within a few hours, raising over £150!
Arthur Tanare, home manager said “It is always great to see Heather painting and enjoying doing something she loves, for her then to raise money for this local charity is wonderful to see for such a worthwhile cause.”
