The residents and team at Belmont House Care Home in Sutton mark D-Day and the 80th anniversary with a beautiful event in their gardens.
Everyone took the opportunity to pay tribute to the brave veterans who served during World War II.
Our chefs prepared a fish and chips lunch as we toasted our war heroes and we were joined by Miss Em who sang a range of tunes in our courtyard garden to mark commemorate the day.
Although it was a solemn day it was important to everyone that we marked it so that they could show their respects and honour those who served.
