Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton joined many people across the country as they hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds to support those affected by cancer.
A host of sweet treats and hot beverages were on offer for all to enjoy as family and friends joined everyone at our community to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. There were a number of cakes to enjoy including cupcakes and various flavoured sponges with wonderful decorations.
The home often hosts fundraising activities for charitable organisations as well as a monthly coffee club for the local community to come along to.
The friends and family who came along said how wonderful it was to be able to come and enjoy the lovely sweet treats.
It was wonderful to see so many people come together to have fun over a piece of cake and a cup of tea or coffee, all while raising much needed funds.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, we raised over £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support which is fantastic, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
