Residents, colleagues, friends and family at Abbeycrest Nursing Home in Sonning Common welcomed the Glee Club from St Martins Catholic Primary School where they had a final rehearsal of their Christmas Carol Concert.
Our Regional Sales Support Manager, George King reached out to Juliette Williams who is head of music at the school to see if a performance would be possible as it is something our residents would love. The club is made up children from different age groups within the school and we had previously welcomed them for performances so knew it would be a great activity for all.
A number of our residents commented how they thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children perform and how wonderful the concert was, which was lovely to hear.
Once the performance was over the children interacted with our residents whilst enjoying some cakes and biscuits.
