Our latest events

At Rectory House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.

Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Club
Date: Last Tuesday of every month
Time: 10.30am – 12.30am

A great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa, coffee and cake.

Care Home Open Week
Date: Monday 16th – Saturday 21st June

We’re inviting families, friends and the local community to come along and experience life at Rectory House – meet our residents and team, join in with daily activities, and see what makes our home so special.

  • Monday (2:30pm): Pizza making afternoon with families and guests – get hands-on and enjoy fresh, homemade pizza.

  • Tuesday: A relaxing cheese and wine afternoon in the courtyard.

  • Wednesday: Baking and decorating the home ready for the week’s events.

  • Thursday: Join us for a community picnic with tasty food and live music.

  • Friday: A calming flower arranging afternoon with residents and visitors.

  • Saturday: Wind down the week with a tea party in the courtyard.

Everyone welcome – come and be part of our home for the day.
