The team and residents at East Hill House Care Home in Liss took the opportunity this week to recognise and celebrate a member of their team Sakhile Mlilo, a care assistant at the home and thank her for all that she does on a daily basis after she was recognised in Aria’s Quarterly Regional Hearts of Gold Awards, Sakhile was nominated back in February and won the award at home level and was then chosen as the regional winner for the last quarter by her regional director Daren Dalmedo, we take great pride in recognising the dedication and commitment of our team members, whose hard work and compassion truly embody the values we hold dear at Aria Care.
Her personality and dedication to caring for the residents shone through in her nomination which was commented on “Sakhile is very kind to the residents, she helps them whenever they ask, and nothing is too much trouble. She has a wonderfully bubbly personality and a smile for everyone. She always treats residents with dignity and respect and is very popular.”
Sakhile was presented with her award and certificate to celebrate her win by home manager Emilie Huffer commenting “Sakhile is an enthusiastic, positive, cheerful and bubbly member of the team, she starts her day with a smile and finishes her day with a smile, She goes above and beyond for all, Thank you Sakhile for all you do”
