Residents at Marchglen Care Centre in Alloa were treated to a very special visitor recently, as Annie the alpaca arrived to join in the celebrations for Jennifer’s 48th birthday.
The visit was arranged through The Alpaca Trekking and Visitors Centre, with Annie arriving alongside her owner, Danny. As the van pulled up, Annie was already getting into the party spirit—curiously poking her head out of the window to say hello.
Jennifer was joined by her family and the wider Marchglen community for the occasion, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and of course, birthday cake to go around. Danny took Annie on a tour of the home, where she was a hit with everyone she met.
With her calm nature and friendly temperament, Annie was a joy to have around. Residents were delighted by the chance to get up close to such a gentle animal, and she quickly became the centre of attention.
