Scoonie House Care Home in Leven embraced Aria in Bloom with a week packed full of creativity, teamwork, and sunny weather. Residents and the team rolled up their sleeves to give their garden a fresh new look—resurfacing the driveway with crisp white pebbles, planting bright flowers, and painting a reclaimed boat to turn it into a one-of-a-kind flower bed. As part of the makeover, they also began building a brand new outdoor library and book swap to share with the local community.
The project was great fun for all involved and also sparked lots of memories, with residents chatting about the time they’d spent in their own gardens over the years. Resident Christina was one of many enjoying the daily progress, saying it was “looking lovelier every day!”
After a busy week of digging, painting and planting, the Scoonie House community rounded it all off with fish and chips out in the garden—soaking up the sun and admiring their fantastic work!
