Marchglen Care Centre in Alloa was buzzing with energy as the community recently came together to enjoy two fantastic musical performances—one from a familiar face, and the other from their very own talented administrator.
Chris White, a regular and much-loved performer, returned to the home with his guitar and a set of classic tunes. As always, he made sure to play the residents’ favourites, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by spring-themed decorations put together by the wellbeing team, Chris once again delivered a memorable show that lifted everyone’s spirits.
Later in the week, Michael, Marchglen’s administrator, stepped into the spotlight for a fantastic Elvis tribute show. Known for his musical performances as much as his administrative skills, Michael had the whole room singing along and joining in with his renditions of the King’s hits. His dedication to residents’ wellbeing shines through both in his work and his performances, always bringing smiles to their faces.
Music is something that truly brings the Marchglen community together, evoking fond memories and creating new ones. With Chris returning in May and Michael sure to be back with another show soon, there’s always something to look forward to.
