Beauty and the Beast Production at Stowford House
Last week, Stowford House Care Home was filled with enchantment as residents, families, and team members came together to enjoy a magical production of Beauty and the Beast.
The home was beautifully decorated with roses, creating a fairytale atmosphere that perfectly set the scene. Members of the activities team delighted everyone by stepping into character as Belle, the Beast, and Gaston, bringing warmth, laughter, and theatrical charm to the day.
Adding to the magic, a talented harpist joined us and filled the home with gentle, uplifting melodies. The sound of the harp created a calming backdrop, which perfectly complemented the joyful spirit of the occasion and was greatly enjoyed by all.
Residents joined in the festivities with specially crafted themed hats, each one adding colour and creativity to the celebration. Smiles lit up the room as staff and residents danced together, sharing moments of fun, connection, and joy.
The afternoon was rounded off in style with a stunning afternoon tea trolley, lovingly prepared by the kitchen team. Adorned with sweet delicacies and treats, it was the perfect finishing touch to a day filled with laughter, music, and togetherness.
Events like this capture the heart of life at Stowford House: creating special experiences that bring people together, celebrate creativity, and ensure that every resident feels valued and part of something truly memorable.
