Southborough Residents Welcome Jazz Singer Tracy O’Connell

Live Jazz Brings Lively Atmosphere to Southborough

Southborough Nursing Home recently welcomed back singer Tracey O’Connor for an afternoon of live jazz and classic favourites, much to the delight of residents and visitors alike.

Tracey’s performance brought real energy to the home, with familiar tunes that had many residents tapping their feet, singing along, and even taking to the dance floor. Juliette was among those who enjoyed a dance, sharing a particularly joyful moment with visitor Elaine—both clearly enjoying the music and the connection it sparked.

Tracey’s voice and presence created a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere, and her ability to engage with the room made a lasting impression. As one resident, Lily, simply put it: “I love you.” A short phrase, but one that reflected the warmth and appreciation felt throughout the room.

Many thanks to Tracey for another enjoyable performance—we look forward to welcoming her back again soon.
