A Visit from the London Fire Brigade at Southborough Care Home
Southborough Care Home, part of the Aria Care family, was pleased to welcome the London Fire Brigade for an engaging and informative visit as part of their routine health and safety checks.
The team carried out a comprehensive assessment, asking all the right questions—from on-site oxygen storage and recent operational changes to the care home’s fire safety systems. Their visit served as a timely reminder of the importance of remaining vigilant and proactive when it comes to everyday safety. At Aria Care, creating a secure and supportive environment is a shared commitment, with the wellbeing of residents at the heart of everything we do.
Residents and team members alike enjoyed the experience, with resident Barbara especially delighted to meet the firefighters and enjoy a friendly chat. Home Manager Kamal and Lifestyle Lead Shobha were also thrilled to step inside the fire engine, gaining a new appreciation for the vital work our emergency services carry out.
