Residents and staff at Scoonie House Care Home hosted a Macmillan Coffee event to raise money in support of those affected by cancer.
Several of our residents prepared for the occasion by baking some delicious treats to sell to raise funds. Family and friends joined us in the morning to enjoy a drink and a slice of cake and then danced the afternoon away to live music from our visiting entertainer Charlie.
The home often hosts fundraising activities for charitable organisations and hosting a coffee event is one of the many ways they achieve this. Coffee mornings were also held at a number of other homes across the aria care Group.
We would like to thank everyone that joined us for our Coffee Morning event and had a great afternoon of dancing and singing whilst raising vital funds for Macmillan.
