This week, the residents at Riverside Place Care Home in Ware celebrated the festive season with a visit from Thundridge Primary School.
Joined by friends and relatives, the residents and team enjoyed listening to Christmas songs sung by pupils from the local primary school.
Earlier in the month, the children participated in a competition where they designed a Christmas jumper for a teddy. During their visit, the winner of the competition was announced. Well done to Maisie, who was chosen as the winner and won her very own teddy wearing a top with her design on.
Complete with a visit from Noah the donkey, the children and residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting and learning all about him.
Resident Hazel said, “How marvelous! I loved meeting the donkey and the children were wonderful company.”
