Rectory House Care Home nurse wins award at Great British Care Awards 2023

Rectory House Care Home are celebrating after winning an award at the prestigious Great British Care Awards.

Serah Maina took home the ‘Social Care Nurse Award’ in the South East England region.

Serah was recognised for the important role that specialist nurses working in the Care Sector have in promoting the emotional, physical, psychological, and social health of the people who they support.

Serah’s regional win means she has now been automatically shortlisted as a finalist in the national competition, which will take place in March 2024.

Alicia Gomez de la Cruz, Home Manager at Rectory House, said: “I am very proud of Serah. I have been privileged to work with Serah for over a year now, and her passion and dedication are second to none. On behalf of the team at Rectory, we are very proud of Serah.
