Mill House celebrates Professional Care Workers Week

Earlier this month, Mill House Care Home in Chipping Campden celebrated Professional Care Workers Week by rewarding the team for all the hard work and commitment they give to our residents and their families.

A week-long celebration to raise the profile of care workers in the UK, Professional Care Workers Week is an opportunity to show appreciation for care workers and the essential work they do.

Kicking off the week with an afternoon spent playing games, followed by a pyjama party on Tuesday, the team enjoyed complimentary manicures from beauty therapist Ashleigh. The pampering continued on Wednesday when the team received treatments from sports massage therapist Alex. Ending the week with pizza, the Mill House team was well and truly grateful for the recognition.

Home Manager Stacey Roblin commented, “their compassion and drive to deliver the highest level of care really demonstrates ‘Care from the Heart’. I am extremely proud of our team at Mill House, they are praised often for their care and compassion by relatives, residents, and visitors. Thank you team, this week is well deserved.”

Mill House provides residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and short stay basis. If you are looking for a care home and want to find out more about our home call us on freephone 0808 223 5524.
