Mill House Care Home celebrated the launch of Aria Care’s new brand with a mini music festival on March 14th. The event was a huge success, with residents, family members, and staff coming together for a day of fun and entertainment.
Aria Care Group has one home in Gloucestershire and 50 in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
The group celebrated its official launch on Monday, 13th March at its head offices in Colchester, Essex, with an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea.
Homes across the group, including Mill House, then joined in the celebrations with their own tea parties on Tuesday, 14th March, with sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
The home was decorated for the occasion and celebrations kicked off with a Bucks Fizz breakfast, followed by entertainment from a local 50/60s singer and a three course lunch.
Prior to the afternoon tea itself, which included Aria Care branded biscuits and cakes, the home took part in a fast-paced music keep fit and dance class, to keep in with the festival theme.
Interim home manager, Gary Kent, said: “We had a fantastic time celebrating, it was great that we were able to include the residents in our celebrations too. The care we provide is really important to us, so we’re going to continue delivering this to our residents and I know there’s some exciting stuff to come in the future.”
