The community at Marchglen Care Home held a fabulous Family Fun Day this month, welcoming lots of loved ones and local community to join them for a day of fun!
There were an array of stalls offering sweet treats, crafts, games to have a go at, as well as lots of competitions to win vouchers to many local companies and services. Many of our team brought in prizes for our Fun Day and we have so many people to thank for making it such a successful event.
Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who came along on the day. Together we raised £315 towards our amazing residents’ fund. Thank you to our wonderful stall holders: Granny Ann’s Sweet Bouquets, Christine Hunter, Sugar Mum Bakes, Muirside Crafts, Tony Bell’s Spin the Wheel, Wee Crafty B’s, The Shearer Hook the Duck and The Shearer Family Candles.
We would like to make special mention to our local businesses, who along with our residents’ families, donated some amazing prizes for our Fun Day – Royal Oak Alloa, Jeanie’s Rolls Alloa, Baynes Bakers, Enjoy Takeaway, Lee Dunn Spiritualist Reading, Old Brewery Alloa, Alba Performing Arts School and Yvonne Reid.
We had a wonderful time and very much look forward to our next big event at Christmas!
