The residents at Marchglen Care Centre have had a busy week of various activities including some bingo fun for all to enjoy.
Playing bingo has many health benefits for our residents. It takes concentration which improves listening and short term memory skills, and it promotes socialisation which is really important for our residents to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle.
Residents sit poised with their pens as they await their numbers to be called, sometimes the excitement can get too much as the competition grows and they are racing to cross off the last number on their cards!
Following on from the bingo the residents also enjoyed picking lavender, some tasting days where they got to sample some lovely delicacies as well as some live entertainment from a local musician where they got the chance to have a sing-a-long.
