At Kingsclear Care Home we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Club
Date: Every Monday
Time: 10.30am – 12pm
Every Monday, we’re opening our doors for a friendly, welcoming get-together. It’s the perfect opportunity for like-minded people in the community to come together, make new friends, take part in social activities, and chat about local topics – all over a warm cuppa.

Dementia Cafe
Date: Wednesday 28th May
Time: 2 – 4pm
Join us at Kingsclear for our monthly Care From the Heart Café — a dementia-friendly space where people living with dementia and their carers can connect. Enjoy a cuppa and cake in good company, while taking part in social activities designed to support and engage. The café also offers carers a chance to share experiences, swap advice, and find support among others who understand the journey.
