Recently, the team at Huntercombe Hall Care Home in Henley-on-Thames came together to celebrate a special milestone for one of their beloved team members, Janice, as she marked her 10th anniversary working at the home.
Janice, a dedicated care assistant, also lends her support in housekeeping and as a kitchen assistant whenever needed and is always eager to help wherever she can.
After being awarded her long service award, Janice commented on her passion for the role and the close bond she’s made with residents – “I enjoy learning from the residents every day, and I love sharing their happy moments!” Janice’s compassion shines through in everything she does, always treating residents with the love and care they deserve, as if they were her own family.
Throughout her time working at the home, Janice has been honoured multiple times with the Heart of Gold award, voted for by her team, reflecting their appreciation for her unwavering hard work. She added, “I’m happy in my role and look forward to continuing to spend quality time with both the residents and my colleagues here at the home.”
