A Festive Flourish: Huntercombe Hall Hosts Annual Christmas Market
The magic of the season truly arrived at Huntercombe Hall on 13th December, as the home opened its doors for its much-anticipated Annual Christmas Market. It was an afternoon defined by community spirit, laughter, and the kind of festive cheer that sits at the very heart of the Aria Care ethos.
A House Transformed
While the festivities touched every corner of the home, the Conservatory served as the bustling hub of the market. Transformed into a winter wonderland, it hosted an array of local businesses showcasing beautiful natural products, offering residents and guests the perfect opportunity to find unique, handcrafted gifts.
The sensory experience was completed by the home’s own hospitality stall, which kept spirits high with an enticing selection of festive finger foods and seasonal drinks.
Fun for All Generations
True to Huntercombe Hall’s commitment to being a pillar of the local community, the event offered something for every age:
-
The Library: Reimagined as a magical children’s retreat, the room was filled with the joy of face painting, crafts, and games. Of course, the star of the show was Father Christmas, who made a special appearance to hand out presents to delighted younger visitors.
-
The Lounge: For those seeking the “true spirit of Christmas,” the lounge became a stage for a live singer. The room quickly filled with the sounds of classic carols, leading to heartwarming scenes of residents, families, and staff dancing and singing together.
Heartfelt Reflections
The success of the day was best summed up by Chris, a friend of one of the residents, who noted:
“It was a wonderful afternoon. Thank you so much for organising such a nice event.”
At Aria Care, we believe in providing more than just support; we believe in creating a vibrant, inclusive community where memories are made.
