The community at Hulcott Care Home were thrilled to have children from a local sports team come to the home for a Fun Sports Day!
Children from the Aylesbury Vale Dynamos Girls football team took part in a Fun Sports Day. This was held in the homes’ gardens and our residents loved having the children visiting and participating in some fun activity.
Intergenerational activities help with wellbeing, reduces loneliness, and fosters stronger, happier communities and the younger generation can learn a lot from our residents.
Exercise is one of the most important activities for elderly people to maintain their physical health. If our residents can socialise while doing that, this can also help with the mental and emotional well-being of those who live in our community at Hulcott.
We would like to say a big thank to all the girls who joined us for our event. We hope to enjoy more visits from our local Dynamos and other groups within the area in the future.
