On the 12th May Hulcott paid tribute to all nurses and the whole staff team at the home for International Nurses Day.
Celebrated around the world every year on that date – the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth – International Nurses Day is a time to reflect and celebrate the outstanding contribution nursing professionals provide to the health service. After the past year of pandemic, the theme was ‘A vision for future healthcare’, a look into how the nursing profession will transform the next stage of healthcare.
We celebrated by reflecting on the history of nursing, reading some poetry and enjoying some scrumptious treats. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed honouring this special day which recognised our highly skilled and dedicated teams who consistently go above and beyond to deliver the best possible care to our residents.
Hulcott has 38 bedrooms, in what used to be the village rectory built in 1862 and has been lovingly restored. The home provides residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent or short stay basis. To find out more about our home call 080 223 5514.
