Residents and staff at Hulcott Care Home celebrated Afternoon Tea Week earlier this month with several amazing events. They started with a Glitz and Glamour afternoon, with plenty of drinks and delicious homemade scones.
The following day we held a Well-Being Afternoon Tea, with yet more scrumptious scones. This time we welcomed visitors from our local church – Bierton Church. A huge thank you to Lynn and Pam for all their help.
Afternoon Tea Week celebrates the great British tradition of Afternoon Tea and is the perfect excuse to catch up with loved ones over a cup of tea and some delicacies.
On another day, we held a Fairy Tea Party. This time Hulcott residents, their families, friends, children and staff members all enjoyed party games, sweet treats and were gifted with party bags to celebrate the event.
During our final event of Afternoon Tea Week, our Friday Afternoon Tea in the Sunshine, we were visited by the amazing Tim Dixon, Mayor of Aylesbury. He placed a bouquet of flowers at our C-19 Memorial Tree, as well as joining us for some tasty refreshments.
We are supporting Tim in his 10-tonne challenge with the Aylesbury Food Bank and now fully signed up to a monthly collection.
