Dancing With Ghosts & Grooving With Ghouls!
Hamilton Nursing Home was filled with fun, laughter and festive spirit on Friday afternoon, 31st October 2025, as residents, team members and special young visitors came together for a wonderful Halloween celebration.
The event took place across the cosy Coombe and Langley lounges, which had been beautifully transformed into a spooky seasonal setting. Activities Co-ordinator Georgina, who led the celebrations, created a magical atmosphere with pumpkins, cobwebs and a host of hauntingly charming decorations. Residents commented on the incredible effort made, delighting in the surroundings and the joyful energy throughout the home.
Everyone enjoyed dancing, delicious themed treats and a warm sense of community, reflecting Hamilton Nursing Home’s commitment to creating meaningful moments and fostering opportunities for companionship and connection. A highlight of the afternoon was a visit from the children at Monkey Puzzle, whose smiles and boundless excitement brought extra joy to residents and team members alike.
As one delighted resident, Zara Jawed, shared:
“The decoration was incredible.”
The event saw staff, residents and invited guests all taking part, including carers Mona, Godfred, Juanita and Thulani, Nurse Alina and Manager Andrea. Their enthusiasm helped make the celebration truly unforgettable.
Moments like these exemplify the heart of life at Hamilton Nursing Home – where every occasion is an opportunity to bring people together, celebrate life, and create memories full of warmth, happiness and togetherness.
