Residents, colleagues, friends and family at Garth House Care Home in Dorking came together this Valentine’s Day to celebrate in style with a party. In the lead up to the big day the people living in our community and Nergiz, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator at the home came together to make all the decorations for the day. Including hearts and flowers which made the perfect backdrop for the celebrations.
On the big day we were honoured to be joined by Councilor Patricia Wiltshire, Chairman of Mole Valley District Council who enjoyed the opportunity to meet our residents.
Throughout the afternoon everyone enjoyed singing and dancing as the amazing singer Kathleen Linton-Ford sung for us. Our Head Chef Jake made amazing cakes, biscuits and other treats themed for the event which were delicious.
It was wonderful to be joined by so many people for our celebrations and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for our next event.
