The residents and team at Garth House Care Home in Dorking were joined last week by Dorking Fire and Rescue team.
Our residents had a wonderful time chatting with the firefighters and getting some information about the Fire and Rescue Service and what they do. Our residents took the opportunity to ask questions and also gave them a Thank You card that they had made for them, to show their gratitude for their hard work.
Our head chef, Jake made some lovely Vanilla and Cherry Blossom cupcakes for the whole team at the Dorking Fire Station which were greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank the team for taking the time to come and see us and we look forward to welcoming them back to the home in the future. Supporting and developing these relationships in the local community is so important to everyone at Garth House.
