At Cedar View in Croydon, we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Pet Therapy
Date: The day can change, but the session generally falls during the third week of the month
Time: TBC
Pets as therapy (Pat) visit Cedar View monthly.
Poppy the dog and her owner Peter visit all residents in the home and also with visitor’s .

Group Communion Service
Date: First Wednesday of the month
Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Monthly service held by local church St. Mathews.

By The Seaside Summer Party
Date: Saturday 2nd August
Time: 2:15pm – 5pm
We’re excited to announce our annual Summer Party, and this year we’re taking you “By the Seaside”.
We are honored to welcome the Civic Mayor of Croydon, who will be joining us to celebrate this special occasion with our residents, staff, families, and friends.
Live Entertainment will be provided by the talented Rob.T, whose nostalgic tunes and seaside sing-alongs are sure to bring joy and dancing feet to all!
