Residents and staff at Dormy House Care Home luckily kept the rain at bay for their September BBQ. Chefs Stefan and Lou done us proud, by supplying a delicious selection of sausages and burgers, as well as an assortment of cakes.
We held a raffle which was a great success, with our lovely prizes donated by the local community including a Jo Malone candle and crystal vase going to good homes. Timmy and his family enjoyed a couple of wins on the day.
The singer who entertained us at the BBQ were excellent, with one guest commenting on how Charlotte (one of the singers) had a voice like Charlotte Church.
All our residents and guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, listening to the music and tucking into the BBQ food.
