Dormy House Care Home in Sunningdale officially kicked off the holiday season with their Christmas Light-On celebration, bringing all their beautiful decorations to life and lighting up the home with festive colour and cheer.
The team and residents have been working hard on their decorations, with icicles, bells, fairy lights and even a giant snowman! With the home now transformed into a mini winter wonderland, residents, families and friends enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit with some mince pies and mulled wine.
The day was made even more special by the wonderful choir from Holy Trinity Church, Sunningdale, who sang some nostalgic Christmas carols, accompanied by local schoolchildren as well as the very talented harpist, Francesco.
One truly memorable moment was when resident, Alex, set aside her walker, held onto a staff member, and began dancing joyfully to the tune of Danny Boy. It was a heartwarming and magical moment for everyone involved!
