Residents and families of Dormy House Care Home had a wonderful time at the launch party of Aria Care on March 14th. The event was a smashing success, with music, dancing, and lots of fun to be had by all.
Aria Care has two homes in Berkshire and 50 in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
The group celebrated its official launch on Monday, 13th March at its head offices in Colchester, Essex, with an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea.
Homes across the group, including Dormy, joined in the celebrations.
Joanne Gullon, home manager at Dormy House, expressed her delight at the launch. She said: “Everyone at Dormy House is thrilled about the launch of Aria Care and had a great time at the tea party. Our lovely entertainer Jim provided the music for the evening, playing the banjo and singing some classic tunes that had everyone clapping their hands and tapping their feet. The residents, their families, and colleagues of Dormy all enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the opportunity to let loose and have some fun.
“One of the highlights was the conga line that formed spontaneously as the music played. Everyone joined in, dancing and singing their way around the garden. It was a joyous sight to see everyone coming together and celebrating the launch of Aria Care.”
