The team at Dormy House Care Home Sunningdale made Dennis and Pam’s 60th wedding anniversary extra special by organising a celebration for the family to enjoy together. Dormy resident Dennis was able to enjoy the celebrations with his wife Pam as well as their family. Dormy Head Chef Chris created some lovely menus for them to enjoy in our sunroom.
Pam Sharman who has led on creative activities at Dormy had seen the love between the couple and so helped Dennis create a special card for his wife. They created a card together that reflected their shared passions. She says, “As a special request from Adele, I supported Dennis in creating a special card for his wife to present to her on the day. He made a beautiful card, front cover and painting of Cherry Blossom, inside his favourite poem by William Shakespeare and a special meaningful message from Dennis to Pam his wife of 60 years.”
Dennis’s Daughter-in -law Adele Kilby was keen to share her appreciation for the team at Dormy, “Thank you so very much for the fantastic effort and thought you put into helping make Dennis and Pam’s 60th Anniversary so special. We are so grateful and appreciative of the card, note, meal, service and personal touch from everyone involved. It made the celebrations even more special!
