At Claydon House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Dementia Coffee Club
Date: First Wednesday of every month
Time: 11am
Come and join our wonderful residents and colleagues for our monthly dementia coffee club. A chance to connect, chat, and enjoy some coffee and cake.

Claydon House Dog Show
Date: Saturday 19th July
Time: 10:30am
We would love to meet your furry friends for a fun-filled morning. Please contact the home for details on the categories you can enter your dog into (just £1 per category). Treats (for both humans and dogs) will be served. All money raised will be donated to Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.

Summer Party
Date: Friday 1st August
Time: 12pm – 4:30pm
Join us for our Summer Party to raise funds for Marie Curie. We’ll have a yellow and blue theme, sponge throwing for a £1 donation, entertainment, a tombola, food, and plenty of fun games to enjoy throughout the day.
