Chestnut View Receives a Helping Hand from GreenAcres for Annual Summer Fête
In the true spirit of community and collaboration, Chestnut View Care Home was delighted to host its much-anticipated Annual Summer Fête on Friday 18th July – come rain or shine! Thanks to the generous support of GreenAcres Memorial Park in Grayshott, the home was able to borrow a set of beautiful gazebos and parasols, ensuring that even the wet weather couldn’t dampen the day.
The connection came about following a chance conversation with the wonderful Jeni from GreenAcres, whose timely offer was greatly appreciated. Her swift support meant that residents and visitors alike could stay dry and comfortable, allowing the celebrations to carry on without interruption.
The gazebos proved such a hit that they were sorely missed once the event came to a close and it was time to pack them away. Their presence brought not just shelter, but also a sense of occasion and joy to the garden festivities.
This act of kindness is a shining example of how local partnerships can truly enrich the lives of those in our care.
