A ZooLabs Visit Full of Curiosity, Courage and Smiles at Chestnut View
Chestnut View was buzzing with excitement recently as ZooLabs paid a very special visit, bringing a whole host of animals for residents to meet. From snakes and scorpions to giant snails, frogs and beetles, there was plenty to see, touch and talk about—and more than a few brave moments too!
Dan from ZooLabs led the session, sharing stories and fascinating facts about each animal along the way. Residents listened with interest, asked questions and enjoyed the chance to learn something completely new. Family members joined in as well, making it a lovely shared experience filled with laughter, surprise and plenty of conversation.
The visit was all about curiosity and trying something different—because learning and new experiences don’t stop with age. As Dan beautifully put it:
“Reptiles and other animals bring gentle companionship and quiet joy into the lives of all adults.”
It was a joyful, hands-on afternoon that sparked memories, encouraged connection and left residents smiling long after the animals had gone—proof that life at Chestnut View is always full of moments to enjoy and stories to share.
