At Belmont House Care Home in Sutton, the residents and team members came together to make it a special Halloween for the children of Pioneers Nursery by hosting their own Trick-or-Treat adventure.
They gave the home a haunted house makeover with giant spiders, skeletons and other ghoulish decorations. Residents got their sweets ready for the trick-or-treaters and the children, all dressed up in their spookiest costumes, were given special Belmont House treat bags. They ventured around the home to look for treats and possibly a trick or two, with the wicked witches of Belmont House, AKA the activities team, lurking around.
Residents loved meeting the kids, filling their bags up and wishing them a happy Halloween. The children had lots of fun exploring and meeting new people and all came away with a good haul of treats! A very happy Halloween was had by all!
