The activities team at Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton wanted to wrap up a wonderful summer with a party for their residents and loved ones to mark the end of the season. Our guests gathered in the garden for a Hawaiian themed BBQ lunch and fortunately, summer held out for us, and we had lovely weather all day.
Talented entertainer, Stefano, performed rockabilly tunes, as well as the music of Buddy Holly and The Shadows, favourites of our residents. He brought an incredible energy and had us all up and dancing and clapping along to the music.
Our chef fired up the grill and put on a delicious spread of burgers, hotdogs, pork belly and chicken, then to really spoil us, Eton Mess and a delightful display of summer fruits for dessert.
Residents, visitors and the Belmont House team enjoyed the perfect summer sendoff thanks to all involved. One resident, Vilma, commented, “you always know how to throw a party! Thank you to all at Belmont House.”
