Resident exhibits her artwork at Belmont House

Belmont House Art Exhibition

Margaret a resident at Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton has a passion for art and drawing, you will often find her doing a spot of drawing around the home including artwork of people and still life.

With the support of our team we organised an art exhibition at the home so all her wonderful pieces could be put on display for all to see. The exhibition was opened in true art gallery fashion with a ribbon cutting, nibbles and fizz.

Margaret was surrounded by her family for the event and our lovely community. The artwork was available to purchase with all donations going to her chosen charity, Save the Children.

Due to popular demand the exhibition was open for the week so that residents, their loved ones and the local community could come in and view all the pieces and purchase them.

Margaret has raised over £100 for Save the Children which is such a worthwhile cause and she was delighted that her artwork was appreciated by so many people.
