At Belmont House Care Home in Sutton, the team and residents came together to celebrate Wear It Pink Day in support of Breast Cancer Now.
Breast Cancer Now provide vital support to thousands of people affected by breast cancer every year and fund groundbreaking research into preventing the disease and saving lives.
After a fantastic team effort planning and decorating for the event, Belmont House was pretty in pink with balloons and banners along with pink cupcakes and raspberry lemonade presented beautifully by the hospitality team. The team and residents also dressed in pink to get in the spirit.
The brilliant Eleanor from Mack Entertainment visited the home to support the cause, putting on a fabulous show. Residents had a great time listening to some nostalgic 60s and 70s classics, with resident, Jacky, commenting, “what a wonderful thing to do and the singer was amazing. Thank you for all the entertainment!”
