Throughout March, staff and residents at Belmont House will be getting their walking boots on and completing a combined 10,000 steps each day around the grounds of the home, to raise vital funds for cancer research – a charity close to many of our hearts. They are looking forward to welcoming spring during this time too and will appreciate the sunnier days during this challenge.
Walking is great exercise and it’s important for our residents to keep moving as much as they are able to, to improve coordination and dexterity, as well as the added benefit of socialising by being out and about. Please click here to donate, every penny counts.
