Tamena Seymour, home coordinator at Abbeycrest Nursing Home in Sonning Common has been shortlisted under the South East Ancillary Worker category at the prestigious awards.
The Great British Care Awards acknowledge the dedication of care service providers and celebrate their outstanding contributions to the social care sector.
Tamena shared her excitement on being nominated and said: “This nomination has come as a wonderful surprise to me and I am very excited for the big day.
“I believe that a warm and welcoming atmosphere is essential to the well-being of our residents, and I am proud to contribute to that every day.”
With her exceptional work ethic and commitment to the home, Tamena has made a positive impact on residents, their families and colleagues in her five years at Abbeycrest.
Tamena goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job, taking initiative to better the home and being an active participant in various projects that the home undertakes.

The winners of the South East of England regionals of the Great British Care Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Brighton on Friday, 17th November.
