Fine Wine, Fantastic Music and Great Company: Riverside Place Launches Monthly Community Evenings
The community at Riverside Place Care Home was in high spirits this week as it hosted a spectacular Cheese and Wine Evening, marking the start of a brand-new tradition for the home.
The event, which saw the home’s lounge transformed into a bustling social hub, welcomed residents, their loved ones, and members of the local community for an evening dedicated to connection and celebration.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter and the sound of classic Rat Pack hits. A live entertainer had the room smiling from ear to ear, performing timeless favourites that held a special place in the hearts of many residents.
The success of the evening was a true team effort. Jemma and the hospitality team, led by Jane, worked tirelessly to ensure every guest felt welcome, while Jonny and the talented kitchen brigade provided a stunning spread of artisan cheeses and perfectly paired wines.
Riverside Place’s new Home Manager, Alin, was delighted to see such a vibrant turnout for his first major event. He shared his pride in the team’s hard work and expressed his joy at seeing the home so full of life and laughter.
