Burns Night at Southborough

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Burns Night celebration, coming together for a delicious Scottish lunch around tables dressed in the beautiful Royal Stewart tartan.

Stories were shared, bagpipe music filled the room, and the afternoon was full of togetherness and laughter. It was especially lovely to see new residents and family members chatting, getting to know one another, and sharing the moment.

There were plenty of smiles all round, with staff and residents enjoying some friendly banter, a truly heartwarming time spent together.

We were also delighted to welcome live Scottish accordion music by Tony Boyle, who wore traditional army trews especially for the occasion, and spent time chatting with residents while playing well-loved tunes they could sing along to.

A truly lovely celebration of Burns Night, enjoyed by all.
