As part of a seasonal community initiative, our residents have been busy decorating beautiful Christmas baubles, each containing a special handwritten festive message. Each bauble also contains an invitation: anyone who finds one can bring it to Kippingtons care home and exchange it for a small Christmas gift. It’s our way of spreading cheer, starting conversations, and welcoming the local community through our doors.
Earlier this week, our team headed out into Sevenoaks to place the baubles around the town. You may spot them hanging in the grounds of St Mary’s Church on Kippington Road, at Bishopswell Day Care Centre, and in the gardens of Busy Bees Sevenoaks Nursery. Local businesses have kindly joined in too, with baubles displayed in indoor trees at Billington Travel, Bojangles Café House, Devita Beauty, and Sevenoaks Library. Many others have been tied to benches and trees along the High Street for passers-by to discover.
