Sunshine, Song and Celebration: A Joyous Summer Party at Priory Court
Residents, families, team members, and the wider community came together on a beautiful summer’s day to celebrate Priory Court’s annual Summer Party – a much-loved event that truly brings everyone together.
Held in the home’s garden, the day was filled with laughter, music, and heartfelt connection. Special guests included the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, whose presence made the occasion even more memorable.
The celebration featured lively musical performances from the talented Johnny Quatro and Malindi, courtesy of Mack Entertainment. Their songs filled the air and had many clapping and singing along, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
A highlight of the day was the balloon release – each resident was given a balloon with a message inviting whoever finds it to email our Lifestyle Lead, Fiona. Residents and guests alike watched in delight as the colourful display drifted into the summer sky, a symbol of connection reaching beyond the garden.
There were plenty of stalls to explore too, including a tombola, sweet stall, and resident-made crafts, all of which added to the charm and community feel of the event. A raffle offered a host of lovely prizes, generously donated and warmly received.
No summer celebration would be complete without delicious food, and the BBQ prepared by Head Chef Jerome and his team was a resounding success – with guests enjoying grilled favourites, followed by classic Cornettos and slices of cake.
Lifestyle Lead Fiona orchestrated the entire event with passion and dedication, supported by residents and staff who helped create crafts and set up stalls. Singer Johnny Quatro praised her efforts, sharing his appreciation:
“Huge thanks to Fiona for putting on such a brilliant event, and to the kitchen staff for the magnificent BBQ – it’s always a pleasure to perform here.”
Families expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and the unforgettable afternoon, with one relative commenting:
“Thank you for such a wonderful day – it’s clear how much love and care goes into making these events special.”
The Summer Party at Priory Court was not just a celebration of the season, but of the strong sense of community that thrives within the home – where residents are supported to live with joy, dignity, and connection.
