Juliette, one of our cherished residents, often finds peace and familiarity in the cosy surroundings of her room. But on this occasion, with just a little encouragement, she ventured outside into the garden—and what a beautiful afternoon it turned out to be.
The sun was shining, the air carried the sweet scent of summer blooms, and thanks to our #AriaInBloom initiative, the garden was alive with vibrant colour. As we wandered slowly along the path, Juliette paused to admire the lilies and soft pink blossoms, which she said reminded her of her favourite flowers—roses. There was a sparkle in her eyes as memories began to surface.
We listened to Bobby Darin playing softly in the background—music that brought back stories and smiles—and shared a heartwarming video call with her daughter, bridging the distance with laughter and love. In the quiet moments, we simply sat together, basking in the warmth of the sun and each other’s company.
