Solent Grange celebrates win at The Palliative and End of Life Care Awards 2025

We’re extremely proud to announce that Solent Grange Nursing Home on the Isle of Wight has been crowned the winner of The Palliative Care Team Award for Residential and Nursing Homes (Independent) Award.

The team had the pleasure of attending The Palliative and End of Life Care Awards, hosted by broadcaster and journalist Kate Garraway at the Hilton Bankside in London.

Held on Friday 27th June, the event shines a spotlight on the incredible work carried out by individuals, teams, and organisations across health and social care, all dedicated to enabling people to experience both a ‘Good Life and a Good Death’.

The award was presented to the remarkable team at Solent Grange in recognition of their outstanding teamwork in supporting people at the end of life. Their efforts have made a meaningful difference in improving the overall quality of life for individuals facing serious illness. The team was commended for their ability to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in their care.

Home Manager Alison Gray commented, “We’re humbled to receive this amazing recognition, knowing that every colleague plays a vital role in ensuring the needs of residents, family, and friends are met throughout our time together. We feel honoured to play a small part in our residents’ wonderful lives.”
